Free-Range Eggs

We don’t quite remember when we started raising hens—it feels like they’ve always been a part of the farm. We do know that our egg-laying hens have always lived free-range lives in two connected fields, spending their days taking dust baths in the sun. The farm maintains two different coops, which is where these ladies retire each evening to rest. At meal times, the chickens eat a varied diet of feed, vegetable and fruit scraps from our kitchen, all the bugs they can find in their field, and recycled egg shells as an extra calcium supplement.

While we sell our eggs at the markets, we also use our own eggs from our happy hens in our breads.

If you’re interested in placing an order for eggs to pick up at your nearest market (or from here at the farm) please get in touch with us.
